Terms of Service

Effective November 1, 2026

These terms apply to the website windmills.io and to Windmills Training Log (together, the "Services"), provided by WINDMILLS, LLC, a California limited liability company ("Windmills," "we," "us"). By using the Services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

1. Consulting and development work

Paid consulting and development work is covered by a separate written agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, that agreement controls.

2. Windmills Training Log

Windmills Training Log is a private application and is available only to accounts we authorize. To use it, you must be at least 18 and have the right to connect the Google account you use. You can disconnect at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Not medical advice

The Services are for general fitness and information only. They are not a medical device and do not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Numbers from wearables, phones and our calculations can be wrong. Talk to a qualified health professional before starting or changing an exercise program, and do not rely on the Services in an emergency.

4. Your data

You keep all rights to your data. You allow us to handle it only as needed to provide the Services and as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Services. That includes breaking the law, trying to get around security or access limits, disrupting the Services, or accessing another person's data.

6. Our content

The Services, including our name, logo, text and design, belong to Windmills. These terms do not give you any rights in them.

7. Other services

The Services rely on services run by others, including Google. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for how they work or whether they are available.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Services will be accurate, uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Windmills will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars ($100) or the amount you paid us for those Services in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Ending access

You can stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or end access to the Services at any time. Sections 4 and 6 through 11 continue after access ends.

11. Governing law

California law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and you and Windmills agree to those courts' jurisdiction.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
